Post-Disaster maneuver – Emergency Department

As a post-disaster maneuver, you will perform various manual tasks, including drying, demolition, decontamination, cleaning, and content removal, using company machinery and equipment.
Main responsibilities
- Perform emergency work at disaster sites (water, fire, wind, mold, vandalism, etc.)
- Decontaminate and disinfect structures and furniture
- Strip and demolish for reconstruction work
- Secure and protect unaffected areas and belongings
- Pack, unpack, and handle contents (furniture, accessories, goods, etc.)
- Document interventions and drying follow-ups.
Requirements
- Experience in the disaster restoration field (an asset)
- Experience in construction (an asset)
- Excellent command of French (spoken and written)
- Functional spoken English
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license (an asset)
- Available for on-call emergency response one week out of three, including evenings, nights, and weekends.

- Professional communication skills with clients and insured parties, and maintaining good follow-ups
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
- Good physical fitness and ability to perform manual work
- Initiative and punctuality in work
Working conditions
- Full-time permanent position
- Hourly salary between $15 and $20, depending on experience
- Overtime paid according to standards
- Group insurance
- Daytime schedule with rotating on-call availability in the evenings, nights, and weekends
